Attractions

Malaga's interesting heritage, once being occupied by the moors and the birth place of Picasso, has many things to offer the tourist. Whether you want to come here for the shopping on Calle Larios or visit the impressive Alameda gardens (in which open air concerts are held on Sunday in the winter), there is always something to do.

One can't come to Malaga without trying the Tapas and Pescaito Frito, an assortment of fried fish, at one of the many local bars or visiting one of the museums dedicated to Picasso, such as the 16th century Museum of Fine arts.

Another interesting place to visit is the La Alcazaba, a fortress dating back to 1065 and is now a archaeological museum.
