The 100km of coastline that runs down from Malaga to the Cadiz boarder, includes the towns of Marbella and Gibraltar. Even though the beach holiday is the most popular type of holiday here (due to the abundance of beaches and water sport facilities such as sailing, boating, jet skiing, etc), there is also an amazingly beautiful mountainous countryside, peppered with white washed villages to explore.

The eastern part of the Costa del Sol is quieter than its western counterpart, not as highly developed and with most of the tourist activity centred around Nerja. Once a small fishing village, this is becoming a popular tourist town, with its 16 Km of sandy beaches and clean clear water.
